Here is a good reminder from our man of the gifts of God, which I think my favorite quote source used to the benefit of us all:
It is idle to talk always of the alternative of reason and faith. Reason is itself a matter of faith. It is an act of faith to assert that our thoughts have any relation to reality at all. If you are merely a skeptic, you must sooner or later ask yourself the question, ‘Why should anything go right; even observation or deduction? Why should not good logic be as misleading as bad logic? They are both movements in the brain of a bewildered.’ The young skeptic says ‘I have a right to think for myself.’ But the old skeptic, the complete skeptic says, ‘I have no right to think for myself. I have no right to think at all.'--Gilbert Keith Chesterton May 29, 1894-June 14, 1936

A most excellent quote for waking up in the morning. Thank you for sharing it.
Oh, yes! That is a fantastic quote. I love it. Rich wisdom indeed.
I love this quote! My thinking is so often wrong when I'm quite sure it's right that I don't hardly trust myself to know which end is up.
